A Trueffles Space is your workspace where you can create, edit, and organize your knowledge in enhanced mind maps.
Here are the key features:
Workspace canvas and inspector – See overview (canvas) and detail (inspector) at the same time.
Create, connect, style and organize Trueffles and connections – Create, name and style circles, draw connections and name them.
Add a profiles and details – Create a short profile for each Trueffle or connection and fill them with more details.
Speed it up with T.A.I. – The Trueffles AI helps you create, connect and fill in everything faster.
Trueffles Space: an overview
Your workspace gives you overview and detail at the same time.
The canvas = overview
On the left side you have the Trueffles canvas with your Trueffles (= circles) and connections. Here you can connect the dots and have an overview at all times.
Zoom in with your mouse or use the +/- on the left side. You also have a minimap to navigate in case you get lost.
The inspector = detail
On the right side you have a detail view – we call it Inspector – for the Trueffles, the connections and the Space. You can switch the detail view by clicking on different Trueffles, connections or the empty space on the Canvas. You can adjust the size of the Inspector by clicking on the black double arrowed button on the separation line.
Trueffles Space: work on the Canvas
Create, name and delete a Trueffle:
Doubleclick 🖱️×2 to create a Trueffle.
When named or renamed, press the Enter key ⏎ to save the new name.
Delete a Trueffle by using the backspace key ⌫ of your keyboard
Create, name and delete a connection:
Click 🖱️×1 on a Trueffle to access the action options.
Click 🖱️×1 on the line button to draw a connection line between Trueffles or drag it into an empty space to create a connection line and a new Trueffle.
Doubleclick 🖱️×2 on the connection to name and rename it.
Press the Enter key ⏎ to save the new name.
Delete a connection by using the backspace key ⌫ of your keyboard
Style a Trueffle:
In the Trueffles action menu, click 🖱️×1 on the left circle button to adjust the size of the Trueffle and
the right colour circle button to change the colour of the Trueffle.
Organize Trueffles:
Either move them manually by clicking on one Trueffle or
by marking several Trueffles (either drag a square with your mouse over the Trueffles you want to select or selecting multiple Trueffles by holding the command (mac)/ control (windows) key) and move them to the place of your liking.
To organize automatically all Trueffles click 🖱️×1 the orbit button on the top to start the tiding up. Click 🖱️×1 again to make it stop.
In case you don't need the connection name, press 🖱️×1 the T-line button next to the orbit button to show or hide the connection names.
Trueffles Space: Fill details into the inspector
The Details tab
On the right side, we call it the Trueffles Inspector, you see all relevant details surrounding a Trueffle or a connection. Both have first a profile incl. name, other names called alias, an existence time span, a short description, tags and links. All of this you can add yourself or use the help of T.A.I. (see "speed it up with T.A.I.").
The Trueffles profile contains:
Name: the Trueffle name – click 🖱️×1 on it to rename and press enter ⏎ once you're done.
Type: categorize your Trueffle e.g. Apple Inc. is an "organisation" – click 🖱️×1 on the type button to select a fitting category.
Alias: other names of a Trueffle e.g. if your Trueffle is Volkswagen an alias would be VW – click 🖱️×1 on it to rename and press enter ⏎ once you're done.
Existence time span: your Trueffle might exist since a date and also might have ended its existence e.g. Michael Jackson was born and passed already – click 🖱️×1 on it to select or type in the dates.
Description: define what this Trueffle is – click 🖱️×1 on it to describe and press enter once you're done.
Tags: add some tags – click on the tag button to add tags and press enter ⏎ to log a tag in.
Links: add relevant links e.g. websites, social media profile links – click 🖱️×1 on the small "+"-button below the image circle and add links by pressing enter ⏎.
Below the profile you can add details at the details tab with information that is relevant to your Trueffle or access the connections tab to see connected Trueffles. Of course, you can use T.A.I.'s help to fill it out faster.
Detail cards contain:
Title: give it a name that will appear in the black card beam – click on it to rename and press enter ⏎ once you're done.
Description: add as much text as you like by clicking 🖱️×1 in the field and pressing enter ⏎ when you're done
Proofs: add proofs = more information to a card e.g. links, files or notes
The Connections tab
The details tab is selected by default. You can switch to the Connections tab to see all the Trueffles that the currently selected Trueffle is connected with.
Trueffles Space: speed it up with T.A.I.
T.A.I. – the Trueffles AI
T.A.I. is the Trueffles AI and your personal research assistant. Say simply "hi" and ask T.A.I. "What can you do?".
T.A.I. can currently assist you with the following tasks:
1. Generate a space on a specific topic:
T.A.I. keyword = space
Exemplary requests: "Create a space about Lady Gaga." "Create a space about different trauma therapy methods." "Create a space about neuroscience theories."
2. Generate multiple trueffles about a topic you ask for.
T.A.I. keyword = trueffles
Exemplary requests: "Create different trueffles about Frank Sinatra's personal contacts.", "Create different Trueffles about startups from Berlin.", "Create different trueffles about the different cat species."
3. Create a profile for an existing trueffle, including descriptions, tags, URLs, or start/end dates.
T.A.I. keyword = profile
Exemplary requests: "Create a profile for the trueffle Apple.", "Add a profile to the trueffle Mercedes-Benz."
4. Provide additional information about a trueffle, including text, images or videos.
T.A.I. keywords = more info / images / videos
Exemplary requests: "Find more information in terms of videos for the trueffle Lady Gaga.", "Find more information in terms of newspaper articles for the trueffle Apple.", "Find more information in terms of images for the trueffle Salvador Dalì."
5. Share information about the Trueffles GmbH and answer related questions.
T.A.I. keyword = Trueffles
Exemplary requests: "Who is behind Trueffles?", "Where is Trueffles based?"
The Trueffles Cockpit is your personal dashboard where you can manage and create your (work)Spaces, your profile and the community .
Here’s what you’ll find:
Your own Spaces – View and manage Trueffles Spaces that you have created.
Collected Spaces – Access Spaces from other users that you have saved.
Your profile – Manage your profile and account settings.
Community Overview – Discover the broader Trueffles community and save interesting users.

Your own Spaces
In the first section, you find the workspaces that you have created yourself or you were invited to collaborate on.
Next to "Your own Trueffles Spaces" you find the following buttons:
Magnifying glass icon: search through your Spaces.
Star icon: filter for your favorite Spaces.
Eye icon: filter which spaces are only yours (pink with person icon), shared (orange with people icon) or published (green with Trueffles icon).
How to create your own Space
Click on the "+"-field to create a new space. Add a title and the description you can also generate automatically, just click on the T.A.I.-button just above the input field.
The spaces have multiple options when you slide your mouse over them:
Click on a Space to land in it.
Click on the person icon in the left corner to quickly share or publish the space.
Click on the star icon to mark it as your favorite.
Click on the i-icon to access the Space settings. They will open on the right hand side. Here you can adjust the name, the description and the authorizations. Also you see the editing history of the Space.
Click on the trash icon to delete the space.
Saved published Spaces
The second section below is for all published Spaces that you have saved from others.
If you want to lose some, just click on the star icon to delete them from your favorites.

Trueffles Cockpit: Edit your profile and view the community
Your Trueffles profile
In the section on the right, when the single human button is selected, you can see your personal profile. Here you canchange your subscription, see your usage, edit your profile and decide whether you would like to be visible in the community. Your profile is per default setting on private.
The Trueffles Community
Once you click on the multiple humans button, you can see the Trueffles community. Here you can search by name and save profiles that are interesting to you.
The Trueffles Universe is where all published Spaces appear. This is the public knowledge-sharing hub of Trueffles.
Here’s how it works:
Explore published Spaces – Discover what others have connected.
Follow other Explorers – Follow other researchers.
Access your profile – Adjust your account settings.
The Trueffles Universe
Published Trueffles Spaces
In the Trueffles Universe you find all Spaces that have been published. Simply click on the Space to land in it. Be aware that nothing you do will be saved within the Space.
Use the:
Magnifying glass icon: to search through the Universe.
Star icon: filter the published Spaces you set as favorite.
Spaces with the activated star icon will land automatically in your Cockpit in the section "Your collected Spaces". See Trueffles Cockpit for more information.
The Trueffles Community
In the right section you can check out the Trueffles community, search through and mark people as your favorite.
You can also always check your profile andaccount settings when clicking on the person icon (see Trueffles Cockpit for more).
